SBDC offers lenders conference May 22 in The Dalles

6 May

OK, I know this is the Hood River Biz Buzz, but let’s all agree that the name is not a delimiter. It refers to the residence of the scribe (me), and because of that, da Hood is the hub on the wheel, but we’re all really all about the Gorge. We all commute up and down the Gorge. We go to the “big city” (The Dalles) to shop for things we can’t get elsewhere. We cross the river for jobs (both ways).

So it’s only fair that we tell you about an event on May 22, in The Dalles, for small business owners and operators. It’s a lenders conference from 10:30 to noon at Columbia Gorge Community College’s Building Two, Third Floor,
Lecture Hall.

A bit of clip and paste here:

“Small Business Owners will learn about opportunities to borrow from commercial lenders, State and local agencies. Presentations will be from the Small Business Administration, the Oregon Economic and Community Development Department, the U.S. Department of Agriculture Rural Development and Farm Services Agency, the Mid Columbia Economic Development District and local commercial lenders.”

As with all things SBDC, it’s free. Call Melissa Davis at 503-326-2657 or email to register.
