Meadows celebrates LEED certification for 2 structures

13 Apr

Take a quick video tour through the new Providence Hood River Memorial Hospital clinic at Mt. Hood Meadows Ski Resort, then listen to CEO Matthew Drake talk about the significance of that structure and a new ski patrol hut higher on the mountain. The Medical Clinic, built two years ago, got a LEED gold certificate. And the ski patrol hut, built three summers ago, got a silver certificate. LEED is a design standard set by the U.S. Green Building Council. It stands for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design.

Congratulations to Meadows, for its achievement, and for staying true to the sustainable business path on which it embarked eight years ago. Read details about the event at the Meadows blog.
